In the frame of the series of scientific meeting Biotecnología Habana, the 2009
edition will focus the attention on the Medical Applications of Biotechnology.
Later editions have gathered about 800 participants from more than 30
countries.

This meeting is organized by the Center for Genetic Engineering and
Biotechnology, Havana.

The main symposia will be the following:

- Viral Hepatitis

- Biology of Cancer

- OMICS and drug development

- Neurodegenerative diseases
