Oxidative stress is involved in all skin diseases. The study of this phenomenon in relation to skin pathophysiology as also the prevention and therapy of skin disorders by antioxidant substances or natural products with antioxidant properties has a growing interest in the last years.

The conference is addressing oncologists, dermatologists, biochemists, pharmaceutical and natural chemists, cell biologists, physiologists, biomedical engineers, pharmacologists, clinicians and post-graduate students in medical, biological and natural sciences.

The 4th conference on “oxidative stress in skin medicine and biology” is co-organized by the University of Athens and the Oxygen Club of California. It will take place in the small Cycladic island of Andros.

The goal of the meeting is that basic researchers and clinicians become one family and all participate by exchanging ideas in the meeting topics.

The conference will comprise :

-Regular sessions of oral and poster presentations

-Special sessions on topics of current importance.

-Various social and cultural events related to the island and its tradition.
