The conference is devoted to channels and transporters involved in rare inherited diseases. Specifically TRP and CLC channels, connexins, mitochondrial transporters, heteromeric amino acid transporters, neurotransmitter transporters and ABC transporters and related diseases will be covered.

Invited speakers have been selected to broadly address aspects of structural biology, genetics, physiology, biochemistry and clinical aspects.

This conference is organised by the European Science Foundation (ESF) in partnership with the University of Barcelona.
